Made in collaboration with Studio Giancarlo Valle since 2019.

I compose the surface patterns as small pencil drawings, convert these to scaled templates, and hand make each unique tile in my Brooklyn workshop. It’s always a joy to see the ceramic puzzle come together perfectly after many disjointed rounds of firing in my small kiln.
